​So what can I tell you about myself? I guess from a very young age I loved to draw, probably came from being an only child and needing to keep myself occupied. The arts have always been a part of my life growing up, whether it be drawing, painting or even singing. After graduating I did a few years in art college before becoming a fulltime hairstylist.  I eventually decided to work from home, and during that time I also did some work as an interior painter and window display. I have been fortunate to have done a fair bit of travelling since childhood such as Italy and later areas in Australia, UK, France, Canada, USA and recently South Africa. I love trying new foods, experiencing other cultures, and exploring new cities... people watching is the best. Due to all this travelling I have also developed a love for photography and editing. Alongside my love for the arts was an obsession with dolls, not sure why, but they have always needed to be in my life. I had always enjoyed customizing my own dolls, especially the ones I could not bond with or felt could be improved. Eventually I found myself buying cheap dolls and repainting them for fun.  I have seen many successful artists selling their repainted dolls and have enjoyed their interpretations and realized "why am I not doing this too?" I also got some excessive nudging from a doll friend to start doing this professionally, so I took the plunge. I have now been doing this professionally for 4 yrs, my website has examples of some of my own dolls, commissioned, and OOAK for sale.... so please have a look, maybe one day I can create one for your personal collection.
